Sanju Samson is a wicket keeper batsman having sound technique both with the bat and behind the stumps. He became the first Wicket-Keeper batsman to score double hundred in Vijay Hazare Trophy.

Why Sanju Samson has been dropped..??

Samson has been excluded from the T-20 squad against New Zealand.

International Career

Samson first selected to the squad in 2014 against England for 5 match ODI series and a T-20 but only warming the bench as a backup keeper for MS Dhoni.

Sanju made his international debut against Zimbabwe in 2015 at Harare where he made 19 runs.

Played second match after more than 4 years on January 10, 2020 against Sri-Lanka and played just 2 balls. The 2 matches are the only one the sanju has played for Men in Blue in his start and pause career.

Conclusion

After being so impressive in IPL BCCI needs to think about selection strategy and give more opportunities to Samson to excel his career. 2 Balls or 2 matches in a span of almost five years are not enough to decide whether or not player is worthy enough.
